Jennifer Lipson is fascinated by humble objects that are often overlooked as we rush through our daily routines. Using acrylic paint, she strives to balance expressivity and realism. Jennifer lives in San Rafael and enjoys teaching art to K-8th grade students in San Anselmo and Larkspur.  Please join us at Town Books to enjoy her beautiful artwork.

Exhibit: Art of Wawi Amasha March/April with Artist Reception Friday, March 7, 5-7pm

Wawi Amasha is a fine artist renowned for her captivating acrylic and digital paintings, as well as her one-of-a-kind wearable art. Through intricate textures and bold patterns, Wawi’s work brings landscapes and characters to life, capturing the essence of African culture with dynamic color and detail. Born and raised in Kenya, her artistic journey is deeply rooted in the rich traditions and natural beauty of her homeland. Her work will be on display in March and April. Join us on Friday evening March 7th, for a reception with the artist.
