Artist Exhibit: Connie Kirk, March & April with an Artist Reception Friday, March 10 5-7pm2/23/2023
Artist Connie Kirk creates abstract, figurative, and plein air landscape paintings. Her early work was influenced by the French and Post Impressionists, but she also works with abstract design and color to
ignite wonder and excitement for the natural world. Her work is displayed in galleries and private collections across the country. We are excited to have her exhibit at Town Books! TOWN BOOKS is proud to host an exhibit of photography by René Voss in January and February.
He is an avid hiker, backpacker, and photographer. This is René’s first solo show where he shares with us an intimate look into the wild heart of Marin County. Meet René at the Artist Reception on Friday evening, January 13th from 5-7pm. Light refreshments provided. René lives in San Anselmo, CA where he practices Natural Resources Law for non-profits and serves on the Town of San Anselmo’s Open Space Committee. He is a past member of the Sierra Club Board of Directors (1999-2001) and a current member of the Wilderness Watch and Coho Salmon Land Trust board of directors.
