  | Town Books is currently hosting a display of altered book art created by San Domenico high school students. An altered book is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form. The existing book becomes the canvas for the new ideas and images. Sometimes words or images from the book are retained as a part of the altering. At other times the books is entirely obscured to become a new idea totally. You are invited to stop by Town Books and experience these beautiful works of book art.  |
