G.R. Brown began his journey as a fine art painter late in life. He started exploring oil painting in 2015, and for the past few years has painted with a local group on Fridays, where he has produced the bulk of his work, mostly impressionistic portrayal of landscapes and urban moments. 
Jennifer Lipson is fascinated by humble objects that are often overlooked as we rush through our daily routines. Using acrylic paint, she strives to balance expressivity and realism. Jennifer lives in San Rafael and enjoys teaching art to K-8th grade students in San Anselmo and Larkspur. Please join us at Town Books to enjoy her beautiful artwork.  Wawi Amasha is a fine artist renowned for her captivating acrylic and digital paintings, as well as her one-of-a-kind wearable art. Through intricate textures and bold patterns, Wawi’s work brings landscapes and characters to life, capturing the essence of African culture with dynamic color and detail. Born and raised in Kenya, her artistic journey is deeply rooted in the rich traditions and natural beauty of her homeland. Her work will be on display in March and April.
